Universal Studios, much like Disney, has many parks all over the world. In them Japanese outpost is one of the most popular and in its first year it received more than 11 million visitors. This involved completely re-terming two live shows, one restaurant and a number of retail facilities, and the result was the new Oz land at USJ. The theme park has since tapered down to a cool 8.7 million visitors per year instead. The Western Area, and with it the Wild Western Stunt Show & the Animal Actors show, were revamped to become the new Oz land in 2006.
